Cathedral Shelter Forming 5K Team

Join the Cathedral Shelter team for the 5K AIDS Run & Walk on Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Grant Park. The goal of this year’s Run & Walk is to raise $500,000 for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (the organizer of the event) and for local HIV/AIDS service providers such as Cathedral Shelter. Cathedral Shelter will receive 100% of all funds which our team raises, including registration fees.
The registration fee is $20 per person. You can raise additional money for Cathedral Shelter by having friends, family members, co-workers, parishioners, or businesses sponsor you for the Run & Walk.
Cathedral Shelter’s HIV services include providing a monthly supply of nutritionally-balanced groceries for HIV-impacted families, as well as workshops on nutrition, exercise, substance abuse, legal rights, and HIV prevention.
